In a setting of great prestige such as Villa Bottacin, dated back to 1854, the SPA area was designed to be intimate and quiet. Access is by reservation and limited up to four people.

Stenal has built the prestigious finnish sauna in cedar wood, the Elite model, which is both a furniture piece and a design element at the same time. The SPA is a great example of how a complete, comfortable and stylish wellness area can also be placed in small spaces. The Cedar wood boiserie has also been chosen for covering the exterior of the cabin, thus creating a connection with the Customer steam bath. Along the path of the wellness center guests can enjoy the experience shower, a particular multy-sensory shower aimed to create different stunning scenography by combining water, lights and scents.

The Embassy Gardens, located along the River Thames, is the neighborhood that perhaps the best of all represents the new London. Born as a residential and commercial center of the Nine Elms Regeneration Area, with the relocation of many embassies in this area, it has turned into one of the most ambitious urban renewal plans in the City’s history. Embassy Gardens are strategically close to well-known districts such as Westminster and Chelsea and populated with a high-target audience, that is very demanding: just think where the Sky Pool is. In 2015, Stenal was selected as main supplier for the prestigious Gym SPA and for the Pool side SPA. In this area, Stenal installed a customized Elite sauna in cedar wood – the top range sauna – , ,and a steam bath from the Customer line. Both equipments have been carefully studied in terms of lighting, to fit harmoniously the surrounding environment.

The SPA is located in the heart of the manor house, in the Umbrian hills, and consists of a suite with Turkish steam bath, whirlpool and Kneipp area: the extermal walls of the steam bath are covered in black marble, in contrast to the live color of the gold mosaics chosen for the floor of the room. The lights inside the Stenal steam bath have been carefully studied by inserting the optical fibers among the precious tiles of the mosaic, in order to create the effect of a starry sky that shines with golden light throughout the hammam.

To build this magnificent residence in Croatia, the main constructor has carefully chosen each supplier; Stenal was in charge of building the wellness area thanks to its top level craftsmanship, highest quality materials and flexibility in meeting the design requirements. The wellness area consists of a sauna and steam bath module and an experience shower from Ray line with chromoLux and aromatic effects. The large windows and the indirect lighting coming from under the benches exalt the coatings and materials of the two cabins , equipped with music loudspeakers and starry sky on the ceiling. The Ray experience shower, located in an evocative natural stone structure, combines the effects of water at various temperatures with aromatic scents; the special mixer aloows to use this special shower also for cooling down after the sauna and the Turkish bath.

Designed by architect Alessandro Ramini (Studio Archra) and Architect Dario Schivo (Studio DS-Architect), the sauna realized by Stenal at the end of 2013 for a prestigious private client fully exploits the flexibility and constructive abilities of Stenal’s Production department. First-choice materials and a special wood finish make it a unique piece of artistic furniture that fully respects its functionality. The wide tempered glass front door and the window overlooking the garden define a bright space, enriched by details in natural stone.

Small spaces and architectural elements such as load-bearing walls, windows and pillars must be often combined with the demand for spacious and comfortable cabins. The solution proposed by Stenal, a self-supporting module containing both sauna and steam bath and covered in horizontal wooden slats, turned into a furniture element harmoniously inserted in environment. Sauna and steam bath retain their identity and privacy, which made it possible to create a sauna with full volumes and waved benches, and a Turkish steam bath decorated with a side fountain.  Both cabins are equipped with Stenal starry sky technology, with extremely quiet illumination.

The seventeenth-century Valperga Palace, in the heart of Turin, was transformed during the eighteenth century as one of the greatest examples of noble architecture, becoming residence of distinguished guests including the Savoy family and Cardinal Roncalli, the future Pope John XXIII. The Art Director Richi Ferrero and the Building Engineering team worked on a careful restoration of sculptural and pictorial heritage combining it with modern materials, suggestive lighting, recovery and enhancement of the common parts, working with Stenal for the realization of the residential spa.

The wellness area includes an original interpretation of the Elite sauna, made of Cedar wood in horizontal strips, a customer-made steam bath has been realized in strict compliance with the Designer requests, and the Emotion Ray experience shower, the top product of Stenal’s experience showers line combining water effects, chromo and aroma therapy. The prestige of this SPA has contributed to award “The Number 6” building as 2015 Best Refurbishment Building Worldwide according to Archdaily, the most visited architecture website in the world that is able to combine the past art with functionality, design and modern materials lead to a perfectly balanced building, unique in the world.
