This Resort is a milestone among the accomodation in Versilia; in the Sixties, there spent their holiday time famous celebrities like De Andrè, Mina, Ray Charles and Marlene Dietrich.

The need to meet the tastes and needs of such different people lead to a kind of “universal” design, sober but not as cold and stylized as the “too modern” SPAs are. The professional spa built in 2016 was placed outside, under an elegant, white dehors, and it can be accessed directly by the pool through large and bright glass windows. This compact solution makes full use of space and is extremely versatile: Stenal built the spa as a module of three cabins; from the left, the modern and welcoming Topclass sauna in Hemlock, a wood chosen specifically for its bright texture, illuminated by stripled under-bench lighting.

In the center, a two-effects experience shower – tropical storm and cold mist – acts as a toning break after the dry sauna heat and after the turkish bath, that completes the module. Both the Finnish sauna, from Stenal’s Topclass line, and the steam bath from Stenal’s Customer collection are equipped with a wide glass facade, framed by an aluminum profile. The experience shower Emotion_Ray, patented by Stenal, enhances the atmosphere of the wellness area with aromatherapy and with the magic of the effects of a colored light waterfall and water jets.

All the technical and construction details are carefully studied to perfectly adapt the wellness module to the environment, making it extremely functional and pleasant-looking at the same time.

Those who visit the Otium Resort will not forget the magic of the Mediterranean Sea, in all the fullness and splendor of its colors. A short distance away, there are places of great cultural interest like Sibari, considered the most beautiful among the Greek colonies. The challenge there was to build a spa capable to engage all the senses in the wellness experience.
Stenal was asked to create a spa able to attract a demanding guest, sensitive to a wellness experience capable of involving all senses. The large Finnish sauna from Topclass line can accommodate up to 10 people; the glass front wall and the multicolored starry sky over the ceiling make the environment extremely bright and welcoming. The aromatic steam bath offers its guests a truly special sensory experience; the lights change gently in different color shades, while the Aromarium rotates four different aromatic fragrances. The ice room is the ideal place to refresh after the sauna session. The brand new SPA, opened in 2015 by the 5-stars Le Soleil Hotel, is located on the top floor, overlooking the Adriatic sea. An intimate place, this brand new wellness area has been created after the renovation of the historical palace built in the Sixties. Luxury and quality can be breath in every space and great care of details is the distinctive point of the SPA, designed by Venetian architectural studio LpArch_Ligorio Paste. The environment deals with an amazing play of smooth colours and warm textures; lighting has been accurately studied to create a light bridge with outside sea landscape, so the overall sensation is to relax in an airy, suspended heaven.

The focus point of the wellness area built by Stenal is the ice fall, with its clean volumes and the sharp color contrast, where the light once again underlines geometries and fulfill empty spaces, giving the idea of a wider space. For this prestigious resort, the Studio selected the Elite Cedar wood Finnish sauna, made of natural cedar strips, and a Customer steam bath with CromoLux and a large panoramic glass, illuminated by a stunning starry sky and stripled under the benches .

The Customer steam bath, with its light colors and the wide panoramic windows, lit by an impressive starry sky and by strip led under the bench, has been custom-built on order to meet the Designer idea and the Customer expectations of a spectacular cabin, while remaining a soft and quiet place.

In the showers area the guests can find the bucket shower and an alternate shower with side cold and hot jets. This new Stenal multi-sensory shower is characterized by the patented “lightfall” effect: activating a button, the customer is driven into exotic atmospheres recreated through the combination of hot water jets, orange lights and tropical scents.

Stenal works in the beautiful SPA “Emotion Zone” of the Hotel Esplanade Tergesteo in Montegrotto Terme started a few years ago when the Company was asked to create a prestigious version of the Elite Cedar wood finnish sauna to be placed by the pool side: the sauna has been customized with an additional glass window which overlooks the pool. At a later time, the spa was expanded with a VIP sauna measuring more than seven meters in length to four in width and was built by Stenal artisan craftsmen in Linden wood, with particularly light and bright texture. Details and finishes of the sauna have been made in Thermowood, a dark wood, for a refined colour contrast.
