NCL’s Norwegian Joy is an ever-evolving cruise ship: launched in 2017 for the Chinese market, in 2019 the ship was relocated in America, and underwent and extensive refitting to meet the preferences of an international audience.

Ever since, the ship has continued its process of transformation to meet the evolving demands of its passengers.

In 2024, a new strategic intervention revamped the spa area, to align with the growing demand for wellness-focused luxury holidays.

For this intervention, NLC relied on Stenal’s expertise in creating luxury wellness solutions, including for the maritime industry.

For Norwegian Joy, Stenal has created a series of fully bespoke wellness environments: the steam bath, the ice room, the experience shower path, the salt room and the sauna.
