Albergo Croce d'Aune
“A marvellous spa with a view on the valley”
The Albergo Ristorante Croce d’Aune is located inside the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, alongside the homonymous Croce d’Aune mountain pass. With its spectacular view over the underlying valley, the hotel offers an ideal stay both for those in search of a sporting holiday and for those in need of a more relaxing vacation among the traditions and landscapes of Bellunesi Alps.
The hotel maintains a strong link with local culture and customs, while enriching the accomodation experience with modern and comfortable solutions. A combination of tradition and modernity that can be found in the Croce d’Aune’s cuisine, in the design of the structure and in the hotel’s accommodation offer.
The structure recently undergone a complete renovation that declined the typical mountain style in a modern way. With the renovation, the hotel decided to expand its offer and potential clientele investing in a wellness zone.
To realize the SPA, Croce d’Aune relied on Stenal’s experience.
The finnish sauna of Croce d’Aune is a model from Stenal’s Antique line. Custom made in antique wood, the cabin’s colors are the perfect match for the style of the structure and the surrounding panorama. The view of the underlying valley trough the ample windows of the cabin is breath-taking.
The intense heat experience of the finnish sauna might not be appreciated by every guest. That’s why Croce d’Aune decided to realize a biosauna, too: a cabin that, compared to traditional finnish saunas, combines lower temperatures and higher humidity levels.
The biosauna of the Croce d’Aune hotel is a custom-made model form Stenal’s Topclass line. Made form Hemlock and Ayous, the cabin was personalized on request with a backlit wood panel carved in a unique motif.
The hotel’s wellness offer is completed by two experience showers: Stenal’s Volga and Mekong models.
In addition to the traditional shower function, the Volga model wraps the guests in a cloud of cold water flavored with mint. The perfect way to cool off the body after a session in the sauna.
The Mekong shower is on the other hand equipped with a massaging jet of hot water flavored with exotic aromas. A warm caresse before or after the sauna.
