Costa Fascinosa
Costa Fascinosa, with its 114,500 tons and its 290 m in length, is the largest Italian-flag ship in the world: it can carry up to 3800 passengers and is equipped with fourteen wonderful decks.
It has the natural elegance of a diva and the charm of an artwork: its unmistakable style is inspired by drama and cinema, so much so that the bridges are named after famous people such as Zhivago, Aida and Tosca.
Its spaces, enriched with precious and shiny materials, are inspired by the seductive atmospheres of the great films, with an attentive look at every detail also in modern comforts.
The ship is equipped with a spa area of 6000 square meters spread over two floors, with a gym, cabins for beauty treatments, female and male saunas, steam bath, solarium, five whirlpools and special cabins and suites.
Samsara is the exclusive wellness centre, the flagship of Costa Cruises ships, proposed for the first time in 2006 and immediately of great success; since then, Costa Cruises installed in also on its last 7 ships. A “floating” Spa with very high-quality services and treatments, which earned Costa the prestigious “Best Spa” award, assigned by the specialized US web portal “Cruise Critic”, awarding it among the main cruise lines in the world.
Samsara Spa offers cabins and suites with direct access to the area, including six new suites with private verandas and Jacuzzis with large outdoor spaces.
In 2019 Stenal carried out an important restoration of the female sauna and male sauna, working on the interiors of the cabins and on the electrical system. Stenal, who has already built for the Costa Cruises group the Samsara Spa of Costa NeoRomantica, was chosen for the refitting thanks to the experience in shipbuilding and the accuracy of the preliminary planning stage.
