Hotel Mioni Pezzato & SPA

The brand new Tea Rose Spa built by Stenal at one of the most renowned Hotel in Abano Terme was an exciting challenge in terms of design and innovation.  

The Mioni Pezzato Thermal Spa is a 4-star Superior that dates back to the early Twentieth century, still the only Hotel in Abano Terme managed by the same family for more than 100 years.  

Tradition and modernity melt today in the Thermal Garden, a green park of 16,000 square meters and 1,200 square meters of spring thermal water: 6 swimming pools, 16 tubs and more than 100 hydromassage stations. 

In the luxury Tea Rose SPA guests have at their disposal more than 60 face and body treatments and a complete Stenal wellness journey. In the dry area, the large Topclass sauna, 6 meters long by almost 4 meters wide, has been entirely customized; Topclass sauna by Stenal offers wide spaces and refined design, with custom details such as windows opening onto the outdoor garden and stone tiles behind the stove. For this professional sauna, Stenal chose only the highest quality Hemlock wood, a timber that has no knots on sight and is very suitable for large saunas, because it gives brightness to the spaces and modernity to the design. 

The Polaris cabin and the ice fall, located near the sauna, makes it possible to cool off quickly after the intense heat of the sauna. Inside the Polaris room, there are in fact frozen walls that bring the cabin to a temperature of at least 5 degrees lower than the rest of the Spa, with an immediate cooling effect: a very important step, which Stenal always remarks in the design and construction of a professional wellness centre. 

In the wet area, the Stenal SteamCustom professional steam bath is perfectly engineered for deep relaxation; the steam distribution system designed by Stenal is planned so that the steam is evenly distributed throughout the cabin, ensuring a truly regenerating wellness experience for all guests. The soft lights, the arrangement of accessories such as the hand showers and the steam outlet elements are also important details. 

In the Mediterranean tradition, wellness areas are equipped with cabins at different temperatures, in order to meet the needs of different customers and to take advantage of the benefits of hot and cold alternance. The Thalasso cabin created by Stenal allows guests to stay in an intimate and scenographic warm-humid environment, where professional equipment meet modern and original style; The Talasso is not an ordinary cabin, but a space created to relax, entertain and make the wellness experience unique and unrepeatable. 

Stenal's Tepidarium cabin is a welcoming space where the temperature is around 38 degrees, so the heat is pleasant but not intense. An environment where you can stop, relax, cool down and let yourself be enveloped by chromotherapy, to which Stenal has combined an aromatherapy system; each light is synchronized with a precise balsamic fragrance based on natural essential oils, thus taking care of every single aspect of relaxation, from the visual to the olfactory one.  

In the Stenal Tepidarium the spaces are designed to ensure guests all the necessary comfort, thanks to anatomical benches and large perimeter seats. 

Finally, the Spa is equipped with a feet sanitizing system, also equipped with a detachable lance for the disinfection of surfaces and spa cabins; in this way, costs are optimized and all sanitation operations are simplified.
