The Hotel Plaza is located in Abano Terme, one of the most important spa centers in Europe.  A few steps away from the city center, the 4-star Hotel is easily recognizable thanks to its 11-floors panoramic towers.  

 

But what really sets the Hotel apart from its competition is its innovative conception of hospitality, which merges together wellness, innovation and Italian way of life. A conception that emerges clearly from the hotel design and form the services it offers.  

 

The Hotel offers restaurants, bar, indoor and outdoor thermal pools, SPA and wellness treatments.  

 

The Plaza Hotel also boasts the first pool in Europe to offer a completely immersive multisensorial experience. The Sensory Pool combines the relaxing effect of thermal water with luminous projection, sounds, aromas and hydromassages studied to offer an unprecedented wellness experience.  

 

The most prestigious of the 144 hotel rooms is certainly the Exclusive SPA Suite, “the maximum expression of glamor in the heart of Abano Terme”. 

 

Hotel Plaza choose Stenal to design and build a private infrared sauna that could valorise this sophisticated environment. Together with the spa bath, the sauna offers to the suite guests a moment of private wellness, in complete relaxation. 

 

For this custom-made project, Linden wood was chosen so that the sauna could match the suite’s warm colors. The brightness of the wood and the neatness of the lines, clearly visible through to the ample glass window, confer the room a modern and welcoming look.
