Atlantic Park Hotel – Fiuggi

Atlantic Park Hotel is a 4-stars Resort located in the spa district of Fiuggi, in Lazio, boasting a fifty-year tradition in hospitality.  

 

A recent renovation resulted in the renovation of the 42 comfortable and bright rooms and to the construction of the amazing Aquae spa, the wellness centre created by Stenal. 

 

The spa includes a bio-sauna, steam bath, experience showers and ice fountain. The wellness centre also has an indoor pool with hydromassage stations connected to the outdoor pool, surrounded by greenery within a 2000 square meter park and heated with thermal water. 

 

Aquae spa is an exclusive experience of well-being and inner balance; the professional panoramic bio-sauna built by Stenal for this wellness centre opens with a large window overlooking the indoor pool. This special sauna, made in Linden wood, is designed to be accessible for those who do not like the particularly high temperatures of the Finnish sauna or cannot access it for health reasons.  

Unlike the traditional Finnish sauna, a dry capable of reaching 90°C, the bio sauna is set to stop at 60°C, while providing higher humidity levels.   

 

The steam bath of the SteamCustom line, tiled in mosaic, is a refined environment in blue and gold shades; it recalls the opulence of Turkish hammams, but with modern taste and design. A long seat with backrest and rounded edges offers a particularly comfortable stay, while the soft lights under the benches and along the perimeter of the backrest gently envelop the customer, making the Stenal steam bath an unforgettable experience. 

 

Water in all its forms is the great protagonist in the Aquae spa. In the ice fountain, the contact of the ice flakes with the skin revitalizes and tones the tissues, reactivates the circulation and strengthens the immune system.  

 

The experience shower of the Ray line alternates a thin cold mint mist with a warm tropical rain with citrus essences. A unique multisensorial experience and an excellent wellness treatment.   

 

After the sauna and steam bath, the bucket shower is ideal to cool the body rapidly. The shower consists of a wooden “bucket” that overturns when the chain is pulled, releasing 10 litres of water at once.
 

The wellness area designed by architect Marco Marcoccia is also distinguished by the space dedicated to relaxation. The vertical green wall, in addition to being a bioindicator for humidity, traps and retains harmful substances in the air, acting as a natural environmental purifier.  

 

In the relaxation room there is also a wall made of Himalayan pink salt bricks: a style detail that adds charm to the room, with the warm white LED backlight enhancing the natural shades and colours of the salt and creating an atmosphere of magic quiet.
