The Gressoney valley is an enchanting plain located at the foot of Monte Rosa, in Val d’Aosta. Its elegance and majesty conquered even Queen Margherita of Savoy, who, at the end of the nineteenth century, wanted to build a castle right here to spend her summer holidays. After a day of hiking, skiing or cycling, the guests of the comfortable Halldis apartments can now enjoy a unique, deeply immersive and regenerating wellness experience thanks to the planning and construction of the internal wellness centre and the outdoor spa by Stenal, opened in 2019. From the relaxation area, furnished with padded loungers from the Alba line, certified for professional use, and from the mini-hydromassage pool, it is possible to fully appreciate the breathtaking view. The wellness area inside the structure is equipped with every comfort. We find the beautiful custom made steam bath by Stenal with a large front window and covered with artistic majolica, the Scottish reaction shower and the sensory tunnel of experience showers, a wellness path that winds through four stages in succession: each offers the user a completely new scenario, a simultaneous presence of lights, scents and water jets that create different atmospheres from step to step.

Stenal's design and construction of the spa took into account a very important factor: the ability to include in the offer a truly out of the ordinary wellness experience such as the Float Room, a special floatation tank based on the completely natural floating in absence of gravity, thanks to a particular concentration of magnesium salts in the water, similar to what happens in the waters of the Dead Sea. In the Floating room, body and mind are treated as one: soon after the first session, you will feel immediate physical relief combined with longer-term peace of mind and relaxation.

During a beautiful summer day or surrounded by the shine of the snow in winter, the prestigious outdoor barrel saunas of the Horizon line allow to enjoy all the magic of the outdoor sauna: these are particular types of saunas that offer wide flexibility in outdoor positioning thanks to the power supply with a wood stove and the particular construction characteristics. It means that these saunas do not require additional canopies or covers. Together with the Viking outdoor bathtubs, also heated by means of the natural heat of the wood stove, the wellness experience in the heart of nature offered by Stenal is truly complete and enjoyable both during the day, under the clear sky, and in the evening under the stars.
